    For the ENFP:

How others can make things worse:
    • Repeatedly ask, “What’s wrong?”
    • Remind them of their typical optimistic, energetic perspective
    • Treat their reactions as a joke, while they are being deadly serious about their situation
Yes, just because I can seem like a child, being emotional and all, (not childish fyi), it does not mean I appreciate being treated like one!

    Thanks for the post :)

I TOTALLY agree with you! I am a strong INFJ and have very strong talents with young children which many people point out. I even substituted as a teacher to get a feel for it. The administration, rules and parent body have pushed me to avoid the career path. I have decided, though, that I would like to pursue the course on the side of my full time career and I know I will love it. What career to choose? I am in one that really gets under my skin and I suspect it may be because of the boss I really resent for his lack of coolness but I would like to pursue something soon!

I would guess that most developing countries and/or cultures would have similar personality structures. Watch "Slumdog Millioniare". It could give you a different cultural perspective. In contrast underdeveloped countries would have suppression of personslities and the structured data you seek.

There's enough brain trust here that the info will become available.

If you want to teach you should stay in pursuit for it. Just beacause administration squashed your ideas or ego doesn't mean they're bad. Aube they don't understand them completely, maybe they are bad administrators and lack respect for the different personality types discussed on these forums, or maybe you're not teaching the right subject that ignites your true passion and potential. Two things initially come to my mode about this:
    1) Dead Poets Society, "Captain, my Captain" was trying to break the mold which was suppressed and forced to leave. If that's not the school administration for you, leave. If it's not your subject, look for an opening which interests you or learn how to break into the subject.
    2) "No man is an island." ~ John Donne. We can't get through this world alone. It requires the support and understanding of those around us that will help us excel. Surround yourself with good people and it will come to you.
Lastly, understand how the other person's mind thinks and structure your contact accordingly.
    Best wishes in your pursuits.
