I really agree with the ISFJ section! It does help to work alone often, with an plan, and with supportive co-workers quite a bit who listen and communicate. There's nothing worse to me than people telling me to work harder or tell me "do it like this not that" without a good reason which happens a lot in physical labor or even in sports...it's kind of patronizing and harsh.

How others can be most helpful:
    • Be physically present but don’t offer advice or tell them what to do
    • Treat them the same way as always, as if they were their usual self
This is so true. When stressed, the last thing i need is someone bombarding me with even more information, advice, or other generic bullshit that i really don't have time or energy to handle.
I don't know if it's just me, but a hug (yes. A hug) would mean much more for an INTJ than any advice or meaningless soothing words ever could achieve.

    This article is phenomenal!

This is really interesting, @MBTI Enthusiast . Do you happen to know if this same type of information is available for the other types?

It may be available through CPP for a fee, but last time I checked, they had only released free documents for the types listed. :(

I agree with the majority of the INTJ stress/stressor response synopsis. I hope there will be further additions to the types covered in detail. I think it could be very useful in getting individuals to identify and better understand their coping strategies and stress responses.

Maybe we could add to the list of issues that contribute to work-related stress the dreaded unwanted promotion! This may be mentioned already for INTJs in the above mentioned "Having to adapt to changes in routine" but what makes it a stressor is it brings about all of the other stressors already listed!

Intj right here and I have to agree, this is really accurate. I wish people around me would be able to fit in the "be helpful" category more than the "make things worse" one.
"You should socialize" especially, isn't really what I want to hear when I'm stressed/bothered and actually AM socializing with you when telling you I'm not okay.
