    Please help! (Music related question)

Where on the internet is it possible to learn about musical analysis?

Perhaps some great lib page, or some series of video podcasts, or maybe just a book?
If it has examples, and at least an overview of the whole subject, then its already gold.

List all the resources you know...
I fear no one will respond

You mean like learning music theory? Check out Lympur's channel on YouTube and search through Wikipedia. I don't know any dedicated theory sites off the top of my head. Sorry...

Ricci Adams has a great theory site.

Lol. Fail on my part...I spelled it wrong. He's the link: Lypur - YouTube

Also, if you just type in "Music Theory" in the YouTube search engine, there are some other theory channels that pop up. I haven't checked any of them out, so I don't know if they're any good. I also haven't watched Lypur in a while, but his beginning videos were pretty good. plus, he's a legit Music Theory teacher. Hope this helps.

unless i was looking at the wrong places, it seems to me he mostly explains how musical notation works. i was looking for more of something like this:

It seems to me that his channel is the only one of "that" kind.
    Please prove me wrong :(.

Id love perhaps videos of explaining as much of those ...things ...are with examples and so on.

well id love for it to be short, yet precise. To have a list of them all, and not in an alphabetical order, but rather ordered by nature. then each "thingy" to have its own videos and list of good examples. then perhaps an inside view on that thing aswel. then links to related theory subjects, and maybe some famous works of analysis buy some guys long dead :D
but then again i want a lot of things....

Im sure there are courses, and best place for this would be to enter a university or conservatory or something, but i dont have that much life to spare quite yet...

aanyways thanks for the channel, im still gonna watch his (lypur) videos :), even if its not exactly what i wanted.

You can't research analysis without theory. Are you already proficient in sight reading and theory?

I dont want to sound like a douche..but..why not?
yes i know some theory about notation, but im not perfect.
but im not sure why do i have to read the pages, the notes themlsefs, in order to analyse the music.
arent those 2 related only becasue "back in the day" u coulndt press the "replay" button on an orchestra?

EDIT: apart from looking in the notes only to make it easier...but definately not as the main thing

I think we are referring to different things when we say "analysis." When I say analysis, I am thinking within the context of having sheet music in my hand and labeling the harmonic movement throughout a piece, which would be impossible to do accurately without theory and sight reading knowledge.
Can you clarify what you are looking for?
