    Separating Dreams From Reality?

Lately, I have been having the most crazy vivid dreams about certain people in my life, mostly its just like conversations with them. [I have been watching Waking Life a lot, recently..] The dreams are not really unusual but they feel so real. It's getting to the point where I can't distinguish the two and its really stressing me out. I feel like I don't know whats really happening in my life and I just want to come back "down to Earth". So, I guess my question would be if any of you have experienced this, how did you come back to reality? What does this mean? I am just so confused with all of this. Thanks.

    um.. Schizophrenia?? Jk...
Maybe you live in your head too much or you dont interact with those people much or you wish to interact more?.. Not sure but you need to express yourselves more if you're someone who holds back.. I have dreams which felt totally real too and when i woke up i'd wonder if it had really happened before or if it was just a dream. But they just fade with time maybe you'll soon forget them.

I haven't felt this way. Maybe you should speak to a doctor? Your sleep cycles may be wonky.

Not to the extent that it worried me very greatly (that WOULD be disconcerting I should think). I have had a few dreams that were so real I thought they had happened, including a couple involving work. To this day I am not 100% certain some of what I "remember" did not actually happen, though I've been told it could not have.

oh, waking life... no wonder you are having mindscrew, lol. that movie, damn its wierd. maybe you're lucid dreaming? if you can't distinguish real life from your dreams, do a reality check. theres a ton of ways to do it. you can pinch yourself really hard, or look in a mirror for changes, hold your breath, look at your hands, etc.

I've experienced this however without 'outside influences' like 'waking life' (what is that? o.o)

I have no advice but thought I'd let you know you're not alone. I have conversations that I later found out I only dreamt.
