how do i deal with this jackass at my work.

i work in a deli right now, because i need to pay for college. after about a year this guy came and started working with us. the first things i noticed were that he is 21, lives with his parents , no drivers license (not even a g2), he hits on all the 16 year old cashier girls, and all the guys who come in to talk to him are also like 16. we work part time so we only get two 15 minute breaks a day. but he, almost immediatly, started taking 30, 40 and even hour long breaks. so what did the management do? fire his ass? NO! they gave us all schedualed breaks. and guess what? he still takes 30 minute breaks. he has proven to be strongly two faced, especially when it comes to the 16 year old girls he flirts with. he's talking to this guy mimicing one of the girls "will you go on break with me" in a mocking tone. despite bieng a douche, he holds rapport with most other people at work and was even able to convince one of the over seers not to bust his balls. im an istj, so i get things done without asking questions, so when he goes on break for half an hour, i need to pick up his shit.

i didnt notice it at first but he did do little things to invade my space, like taking my customers meat off my scale and trying to use it for his customer. at first ithought it was just a stupid move because he was new, but under inspection, i think he was trying to show domnance. he dose do little things to try and win my silence like 5 mnutes of work that didnt need to be done anyway.

im pretty sure im the only one who has to pick up after him on a daily basis, and in th epast i know im the only non manager, who has ratted him out. im thinking of turining him over to the management. im trying to remake myslef and restablish new beliefs, one of which is "i do not tolerate disrespect to myself, my property, or my time". any advice would be appreciated.

First off, I would kee a detailed list of the infractions, date, time, nature of the infraction. Get a good list of them and then quietly talk to one of the managers that you have a good rapport with. You do not want to come off as being whiny or anything like that. He very well might be related to someone, so that could be an issue as well.

Do not talk to anyone, write a compliant letter.. WRITE IT DOWN, SO YOUR WORDS CANNOT BE MISTAKEN! and find out who your HR manager is. Here is an example of something I wrote to my HR about a supervisor of mine, lets just say she never said a word to me again.

    Dear ____,

I enjoy working at ____, but recently I have been encountering some problems with the GSTL Leslie. Sometimes I get the impression Leslie does not like me, or sometimes goes out of her way to make things hard for me. I have had a few situations that have left me upset during my shift, or sometimes when I go home from my shift.
I first started getting the impression that Leslie doesn’t like me, sometime around May. I was wearing a Target Volunteer shirt I got from doing Race For The Cure, and I was about to clock on, when she told me I was not allowed to wear that shirt. I was confused because I had seen other team members such as Alese , and Lashuan wear them. And that day Stephanie told me I could wear it, but Leslie went straight to Vic, and he asked me if I could go home and change, because he doesn’t like that particular Target Tee, because it is not as professional. The following week, I still saw team members wear those shirts.
Another time I found really difficult was when Leslie had put me on a register for over an hour knowing it had no; scanner to scan id’s and no credit card reader that was working. I was really frustrated, so I turned on my light and she came over to assist me. I asked if she could move me, and she said no, so then I proceeded to ask “Why not? What if people get charged for signing as credit, and they need to sign as debit? Or what if they need cash back? I can’t do it”. Later on after I logged out of the time clock, she told me I had a habit of calling her out in front of a guest and I need to stop it. Because I do it a lot.
Something else that bothers is that when I have to go to the bathroom, I have to ask Leslie, and she tells me if I can. Sometimes she doesn’t let me go when I really need to use the restroom. I have not had any issue like this with Andrew, Maria, or Dana. The last time I worked which was Sunday the 5th of July, really upset me. I was scheduled till 9pm, and I asked the guy who I thought was covering Leslies break if I could go home, because I didn’t have a lunch that day, and I didn’t want to get in trouble with the time clock. He said it was alright. I may have gotten mixed up about how long I worked. But what happened after I clocked out I felt like it was really out of place.
Leslie told me to come over and talk to her. So I did, she told me that I had no right to clock out early because I was suppose to close. And that I wouldn’t be in trouble if I messed up the time clock, it would be her butt and not mine. And that I don’t just take breaks whenever I want, and I don’t get to go to the bathroom when I want, so why would I be able to leave when I want. She proceeded to talk to me with a raised voice demanding that I add 30 + 15, and that I need to start using my head and stop being stupid. I got flustered, and couldn’t think right with her risen voice and repetition and I finally told told her 45. And she proceeded to tell me I could have stayed 15 more minutes, and I would still be in compliance. And I told her I was sorry, and I didn’t understand that. Then she told me I could work up to five hours and fifty nine minutes, and I would still be okay with the time clock. So I asked her, “but how would that be fair to me? I didn’t get a lunch.” And I don’t remember much after that except that she told me to leave, which I did.

    Thank you for your time,
    Jesse _____

Dude, go on the 30 minute breaks with this guy. He's probably smoking pot. If he isn't, bring some and smoke it with him.

okay, first of all, if you have to go to the bathroom, you go, tell them your ging but no one can tell you when you can empty your bowles. and yeah thah girl sounds like a bitch. they call you stupid you've gotta hit back. but my manager is aware of this jackasses behaviour ad i was once charged with watching all the emplyees and recording their breaks, but the idiots i work with went and told everyone, creating an observer effect, which completely hamstrung my efforts. so every toher time i told him it was somewhat effective.
