At a deli, there is a server and a woman.

Woman: Can I have 3 dollars worth of salami, 3 dollars worth of beef and 3 dollars worth of chicken?

    Server: Yes Ma'am

*he cuts the meat but mistakingly gives her 2 dollars of everything*

Woman: Excuse me , this is nowhere near 3 dollars

Server: IM srooy, i can cut you some more if you want

Woman: NO! I'll just get something else.

    Server: OK

Woman: *short pause* I wanted 3 dollars of each.

    Server: Yeah, you said that.

*woman leaves and complains to manager*

from your point of view, who has the attitude problem
She was unnecessarily grouchy, but he shouldn't have made that "yeah, you said that" comment. She probably thought that he didn't hear her well, when she said what she wanted the first time, because he got it wrong. She should have chilled, and he shouldn't have gotten lippy about it. He was the one who made the stupid mistake.

I'll agree with Promethea. Granted she was a bit on the unforgiving side regarding the mistake, however the "yea you said that" was hardly a polite response and giving her a really good reason to talk to the manager.

Honestly, If I received a response like that I would have complained too. ( though I would have been more forgiving and let it go)

    Yes ma'am.
    Yes, right away, ma'am.
3 dollars of it each it is then. It won't take that long, ma'am.

But then again she did say "I wanted 3 dollars of each" again after the period of silence.
